Digital Art is any form of artistical expression in which digital components are processed and combined using a computer.
The main difference with the traditional methods is that the materials forming the work of art are not handled physically by the artist,
because this final work is a computer file. The digital original only takes physical substance when it is printed on some imaging media.
Therefore the concept of original artwork, understood as a unique material object, is not applicable to digital art.
Every new print is in reality a new instantiation of the virtual original. Digital technologies are an open door to experimentation,
and they enable the artist for new forms of expression.
